Who we are

This website is run by Shotover Fencing Solutions, a fencing contractor based in Queenstown, New Zealand. This page explains what information the site collects and what we do with it.

What we collect

You can browse this site without giving us any personal information. We only collect what you choose to send us through the enquiry forms on the homepage and the contact page:

• Your name and phone number
• Your email address, suburb, the service you are interested in and a rough timeframe, if you fill those in
• Anything you write in the message box

How the forms work

The forms are processed by Formspree, a third-party form service. When you press send, your details go to Formspree and are emailed to us at shotoverfencingsolutions@gmail.com. Formspree keeps a copy of each submission in our account so we have a record if an email goes missing. Formspree's own privacy policy is at formspree.io.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit and prepare a quote. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or pass your details to anyone else except where it is needed to do the job you have asked about.

Hosting and cookies

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most hosts, Cloudflare keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. We do not run Google Analytics or any advertising trackers, and the site does not set cookies of its own. Any cookie you see is set by Cloudflare for security purposes.

Links to other sites

The site links out to Google (for our business listing and reviews) and Facebook. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we do not control what they collect.
